The Gyron Hurricane sports glasses are versatile, lightweight full-frame sports glasses with interchangeable lenses. The Hurricane is available with either a Polarized CAT.3 Smoke lens or a Photochromic CAT.1-CAT.3 lens. Both versions also include two additional interchangeable lenses: a clear lens and an orange lens. This allows the sports glasses to be adapted to different light conditions, making them suitable for activities including cycling, running, speed skating and inline skating.

Lightweight full-frame TR frame

The matt black TR frame combines low weight with flexibility and a comfortable fit. Flexible temples and adjustable nose pads allow the glasses to be adjusted to fit the face more precisely. The full-frame construction completely surrounds the lenses and gives the Gyron Hurricane a robust and sporty appearance.

Gyron Hurricane Polarized – CAT.3 Smoke

The Polarized version features a 6.5C Polarized CAT.3 Smoke lens. The polarised lens helps reduce distracting glare and reflections, for example from wet roads or water. This provides calmer and more comfortable vision in sunny conditions while maintaining natural colour perception. The lens also provides UV protection.

Gyron Hurricane Photochromic – CAT.1 to CAT.3

The Photochromic version features a 6.5C PC photochromic lens with a CAT.1-CAT.3 range. The lens responds to UV radiation and becomes darker as UV exposure increases. This allows the lens to adapt to changing outdoor light conditions. The photochromic reaction is activated by direct exposure to UV radiation.

Two additional interchangeable lenses: clear and orange

In addition to the selected Polarized or Photochromic main lens, the Gyron Hurricane comes with two additional lenses. The clear lens is a practical option when a dark sun lens is not required, while the orange lens provides an alternative when increased contrast is preferred. The interchangeable lens system allows one pair of sports glasses to be used in a variety of conditions.

PC lenses designed for sporting use

The polycarbonate lenses are lightweight and impact resistant, important characteristics for sports eyewear. They are lighter and thinner than traditional glass lenses and provide UV protection. Combined with the full-frame design, the Gyron Hurricane offers a practical combination of vision, comfort and protection during sports.
